Myanmar promulgated a new foreign investment law Friday which was endorsed by President U Thein Sein, state TV reported.
The promulgation came a day after the parliament approved the related bill with some amendments made by the president.
The details of the law will be published in all state media on Saturday, the report said.
The new foreign investment law replaced the 1988 version in a bid to attract more foreign investment to the country in line with its reform strategy.
