Three private companies have been granted to operate
domestic express mail services in a bid to promote post service, local
media reported Friday.
These companies include Magnate Group Logistics Co.Ltd, United Courier Services Co.Ltd and Kispanadi Express Ltd, said the Yangon Times.
Under the Registered Service Provider Agreement reached with the state-run Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), the three companies in Nay Pyi Taw, the three companies will invest in the sectors related to posts and telecommunication in public- private partnership form.
The MPT was founded in February 1992 and express mail service started in the same year.
