Myanmar private company, UD Group Co.,Ltd, is planning to introduce rechargeable electric vehicles in the country's automobile market, the company sources said Monday.
The newly introduced electric vehicles, which include one-ton truck and six-seated wagon, were manufactured with technical help from China and the United States.
Such kind of vehicles can run 100 kilometers on a single charge and its sale price is about 11,428 U.S dollars.
Compared to the conventional automobiles, such kind of automobiles can entice consumers to switch from using cars that run on gasoline or diesel as the electric cars help curb pollutant, emit no noise and less expensive.
