Russia to build metro in Myanmar capital

Russia has won a tender for helping to build an underground train system in Myanmar’s new capital Naypyidaw, the project’s chief architect says.

Russian experts are conducting a geological survey and designing the first line.

The ring line will stretch for about 50 kilometers while the ring line in Moscow is only 15 kilometers long.
